福建面为马来西亚传统美食之一。其主要食材 【竹压粗黄面】是源自中国福建省安溪悬节庆面食。历史悠久而风味绵长,营养丰富并以极佳口感广受欢迎。


Hokkien mee”is one of the traditional cuisine in Malaysia. One of the main ingredients is the bamboo, pressed yellow rough “mee” (Chinese noodles) which originated from the province of Fujian An Xi in China, the ingredient for dishes during their festive celebration.

In the early 20th century, Mr. Ong Kim Lian made his journey from the south of Fujian, China to Malaya. He initially settled in the vicinity of Kuala Lumpur and, in 1927, opened a neighbourhood stall at Dang Wangi mainly selling noodles from homemade “bamboo pressure yellow rough mee” which is nowaday known as charcoal fried Hokkien Mee.

Hokkien mee is founded since 1927 ,started the first stall at Petaling Street selling charcoal fried Hokkien Mee. Today it has be known as one of the must ear signature food in China Town Petaling Street Kuala Lumpur.With more than 80 years of history,Kim Lian Kee has now revolve into a F&B chainstore where we can see from severals large shopping mall.
